The Poe Toaster is probably not the same person. It might have been a tradition that was handed down to different members of a college fraternity or something. It’s not very likely that one person is going to carry out that tradition for SIXTY YEARS. And maybe the group who did it just decided to stop or they couldn’t get anyone else to do it. Or the group died.

@AlexBaldwinFTW Read the screenshot of the Wikipedia article at 1:31. The original Poe Toaster died in 1998. A different Toaster (probably a younger friend of his) Continued to visit Poe’s grave for 11 more years, but mysteriously didn’t return in 2010 or 2011.
@AlexBaldwinFTW the tradition has not went on for the past 2 years last time a checked that is called a couple years not several. and it has not ended it has just not happened due to too much publicity.
