Awesome PC for a great price!,
I must have reviewed and watched youtube videos for what seemed like months before making a plunge as I really didn’t need a new desktop, but my old one was getting slow and was a hand me down, so I gave my old one up to the stepkids and now have a nice, new and shiny HP computer and it is all mine….mine I say!
Car just paid off too…..sorry, just feels good to actually own stuff!
Anyway, this computer is amazing! Not just saying that because it is mine, but I was going back in forth off of HP’s site and building mine to the T! I ended up getting this one, because the A8 processor is a little new and the A6 is proven. This has plenty of stuff for me from editing programs to just about anything your mind can imagine.
It runs fast, is quiet as can be and is generally the smoothest computer I have used thus far, even over a iMac or my parents 1800 dollar Alienware..opps, I mean Dell! lol!
I have put it through many applications in a short time as I have only had it a couple months, but it is god sent! I am sure the wife will be complaining shortly about spending to much time on the PC, lol!
I comes pretty much stacked and even has a nice Nivida graphics card that is a stand-alone, which is a plus. Has 1g of ram built into it, which will help in the more intense games. I experience lag from time to time when playing Dead Island, but that could be the steam client as well.
If you don’t game and just like to browse the web or do a lot of professional stuff from editing pictures to whatever, it will do it and smile at ya asking for more.
Also a plus, it looks really cool with the gloss black, but be forewarned, it collects dust like a sweeper sweeps up dirt, so be prepared for that. I also love at night the red light makes it look like Kit from Knight Rider! Least to me….
This PC acts like a more expensive computer and feel I should get my monies worth as long as I take care of it, which I do. I wouldn’t still have my parents’ ole Sony Vaio up and running after 14 years if I didn’t. Now to see how long this beauty last! Even if it was half that, I would be stoked as it seems stuff made today isn’t as good as say…..14 years ago, lol!
Time to go load up the new MLB2K12!

|Overall A Good Computer,
I have owned this computer for 2 months now, and have used the computer quite extensively. The computer handles everyday tasks with flying colors, which one would hope considering the computer utilizes a six core processor. I like to play computer games often and it handles all the games that I have played pretty well. I’ve played everything from Minecraft to Crysis, and the computer runs them quite well. The only reason I would not give this computer 5 stars is the graphics card kind of holds the computer back a bit but, not enough that it should discourage potential buyers. Unless you need every setting in a videogame under the sun maxed (i.e anti aliasing) I would see no reason to swap it out any time soon. I have only had this computer blue screen on me once but it was my fault so it hasn’t given me issues. Overall, this computer is an excellent computer for its given price point. I would recommend it for someone who uses their computer frequently during the day, and likes to play games with everything just short of maxed.

|Very fast, easy to set-up,
Cheap, fast and reliable (so far). This is my first HP computer after 3 previous Compaq Presarios and I am glad I made the switch. Loads Windows and gets you to the desktop in under a minute. I love the Wi-Fi capability thus eliminating another wire plug in to the back of the computer. A couple of negatives that I didn’t find out until after I received the computer: it was not compatible with my monitor or my printer. I have a relatively new monitor (less than a year old) but there is no plug-in on the back of the computer for a monitor cable (it only takes USB cables), so I had to buy a monitor adapter to make the monitor work. The printer I have is about 10 years old and I had to buy a USB adapter for that as well but the adapter does not work with my printer because it is a Printer/Scanner/Copier and it only works with straight up printers. I will have to buy a new printer if I want to print anything.
