Yes, Diamond. More thermally conductive than copper (about 4x so I think) and doesn’t conduct electricity. Not sure about the other way around though, I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

Having been in my first house for 2 years now… I can attest to the fact that our world would not work without copper…. though in the plumbing department, pex seems to be giving copper a run for it’s money (yeah… I used that phrase on purpose, I don’t want to know how much money I’ve spent on copper between the plumbing and the re-wiring of our kitchen alone.)
Pex seems to really be the way to go because it’s so much cheaper… do you foresee any issues with pex?
